Radiofrequency Microneedling
About radiofrequency microneedling
Also known as RF Microneedling, Non-Surgical Face Lift, Contouring or Fractional Remodelling, it is a powerful collagen inducing and firming treatment using the Sylfirm X, elite, next generation radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system. It is the world’s first combined RF and microneedling treatment using Dual Wave technology.
Suitable for all skin types, with little to no pain and minimal recovery time, this groundbreaking treatment can be tailored to a multitude of aesthetic concerns, from acne scars and stretch marks to double chin, turkey neck, rosacea and pigmented lesions such as hyperpigmentation, revitalizing and rejuvenating your skin, and also reducing those unwanted signs of ageing.
Sylfirm X combines radiofrequency with microneedling but also by using its Dual Wave technology, it utilises Continuous Wave and Pulsed Wave meaning your treatment can be tailored for overall skin rejuvenation as well as a targeted treatment of e.g. vascular lesions such as rosacea, using just one device during just one treatment; saving you time and money.
We often suggest combining this treatment with our exosome and polynucleotides skin regeneration treatments which complement each other, providing better results.

What happens during the treatment?
Preparation
At your first visit, a detailed consultation with Jolanta (our registered Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, NIP) will give you a clear understanding of what can be achieved and how. Jolanta will explain how this treatment will benefit you and what you can expect.
A medical history will be taken to make sure that there are no reasons why you are not suited to be treated with radiofrequency microneedling using Sylfirm X. If you choose to go ahead, you will be asked to sign a consent form indicating that you have understood how the treatment works and potential side effects.
When possible, patients should come in wearing little to no makeup when scheduled for a treatment on their face to reduce the removal time. It’s also encouraged to come in well hydrated by drinking more water 2 days before the treatment.
“Before and after” photographs may be taken to show how successful your treatment has been.
The treatment
To begin with, the area to be treated will first be sanitised with an antiseptic wipe or a swab; this helps to limit the effect of infection.
Using the Sylfirm X machine, as the practitioner moves the handpiece across the treatment area, you may feel warm, stinging or tingling sensation from the pulses of RF energy, as well as some light pressure from the microneedles. The treatment can provide little to no discomfort, but a numbing cream can always be applied beforehand upon request.
Radiofrequency microneedling can also be combined with skin regeneration treatments using exosomes and polynucleotides, maximising their absorption and therefore their effect.
